On Tuesday 1 July,2014 I have learnt
about teaching methods. Teacher talk about three approaches. There are Communicative
Language Teaching (CLT), Content-Based Instruction (CBI) and Task-Based
Language Teaching (TBLT).
First, communicative language
teaching makes real communication the focus of language learning. Then, teacher
give opportunities for learners to experiment and try out what they know when
learners’ errors as they indicate that the learner is building up his or her
communicative competences after that teacher provide opportunities for learner
to develop both accuracy and fluency.
Second, content-based instruction students attend to the learning of the
content or subject matter explicitly and learn the language incidentally .
Third, task-based language teaching is an approach based on the use of task as
the core unit of planning and instruction in language teaching.
In conclusion, there are important 3 methods in English language teaching. Students
should learn about these methods because we can to develop about our English
language teaching in the future.
